At char.gy, we’re committed to affordability and convenience; bringing charging close to home so you can easily charge overnight and save with our Night Saver tariff, ranked most affordable from 2023 to 2026.
To keep your charging smooth and secure, we place a temporary £25 pre-authorisation on your payment card (including Apple Pay, Google Pay, and saved cards) when you start a session. This simply verifies your card and isn’t a charge. You’ll only pay for the energy you use, with any unused amount automatically released after your session.

Partnering with Enfield Council
char.gy is working with Enfield Council to install on-street electric vehicle chargers across the city. This rollout will make it easier for residents to charge an electric vehicle close to home, particularly for those without access to a driveway or private charger. The chargers are designed for everyday use, including convenient overnight charging at lower off-peak rates, helping to make EV ownership more affordable while supporting Enfield’s transition to cleaner transport.

char.gy has partnered with Allstar, one of the UK’s leading fuel and fleet payment providers, to make EV charging simpler and more accessible for business drivers across the UK.
Through this partnership, drivers using an Allstar fuel card can now access char.gy’s growing network of public charge points, using the same card they already rely on for fuel.
